Held on the 3rd Tuesday each month between 9.30am - 2.30pm. Penrith Farmers' Market offers a tempting array of local specialities, seasonal produce and distinctive crafts, all within the heart of town.  Fresh local food, while learning where it came from and how it was grown or made.

Penrith Goes Orange

Penrith will, quite literally, turn orange, with an amazing array of orange-themed market stalls, fabulously decorated shop windows, plus brilliant music and entertainment.  It’s quite simply the stickiest day out in Cumbria  for humans and bears alike! Meet Paddington too!

Kendal Calling

Kendal Calling is an independent music festival held annually at Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District, Cumbria. It has grown from a two-day, 900 capacity event in 2006 to a 25,000 capacity 4-day music festival of today, attracting visitors of all ages.
