Your breakfast is cooked fresh for you, but to the time you specify, so no long waiting times meaning you can plan your day with confidence and ensuring that you have a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
We offer a wide selection of cereals from both Nestle and Kellogg’s along with six other cereal variety selections delivered in our Kilner jars so there is plenty to choose from. Our buffet delivers a variety of items from yogurts, fresh fruits & fruit accompaniments along with fruit juices such as apple and orange and a choice of other complements; such as dried fruits, seeds & granola mixes all offered to enhance your breakfast experience and give a great start before we delivered your main cooked breakfast directly to you.
Our cooked breakfast (meat option) delivers locally sourced traditional Cumberland Sausage, locally sourced Dry-Cured Bacon Back, Fresh Cooked Seasoned Tomatoes, Fresh Cooked Mushrooms, Hash Brown, Baked Beans and Local Farm Delivered Free-Range Egg (cooked to your preference)
Our Vegetarian cooked breakfast delivers Local Farm Delivered Free-Range Egg (cooked to your preference) 2x Vegetarian Sausages, Fresh Cooked Seasoned Tomatoes, Fresh Cooked Mushrooms, 2x Hash Browns & Baked Beans.
At Glendale we pride ourselves on delivering the breakfast that our customer wants to eat and enjoy – as such we offer you the option to ‘Create Your Own’ breakfast selection. This means that you can select the desired items from our main Breakfast Menu and we will create the breakfast of your choice and deliver this directly to you.
Here at Glendale we also offer other breakfast options for those who want a lighter start or an alternative to the full English Styled Breakfast.
Alternative Breakfast Options:
· Fish Cakes with Poached or Scrambled Eggs
· Kippers with a light butter dressing
· Selection On-Toast – Beans, Eggs (cooked as preferred) or cheese
· Breakfast Butties – Bacon, Egg or Sausage (on brown or white bread)
· Omelette – Plain, Cheese, Tomatoes or Mushrooms (just ask)
· Oats / Porridge – with milk, water or 50/50 mix (just ask)
At Glendale Guesthouse we are extremely conscientious of the food we use to create our breakfast. As such we strive to deliver locally sourced products, where possible, from our local, hand-delivered, free-range eggs supplied to us by Elliott’s a local family operated farm to our locally sourced butchers bacon and Cumberland sausages. We also aim to reduce our ‘carbon footprint’ and work towards foods which are locally delivered; and by operating a pre-order menu we have made massive strides towards a significant reduction in un-necessary food waste; which is greatly minimised to become almost insignificant as a result.
