We have a luxurious selection of single rooms at Glendale Guesthouse and all are fully En-Suite no shared facilities no dashing across hallways full comfort & convenience. We have two deluxe single rooms located on each floor, two on the first floor landing & two on the second floor landing – one on each floor at the front with views over onto Penrith Coronation Gardens and one on each floor with views out to the rear of our property with views onto the lovely church-grounds behind us. All our deluxe single rooms deliver their own individual and unique style with lovely relaxing shades through contemporary soft grey tones to warm lemon, rich tones of orange & soft tones of blue & all with that touch of elegant Victorian style & splendour, high ceilings and an abundance of original features. Our deluxe single rooms feature wall photos from all around our locality from Ullswater, Appleby, Ambleside & Kendal.

All our deluxe single rooms are fully en-suite and delivery luxurious newly refitted bathroom facilities. Our four deluxe single rooms have a unique style and each feature different photo’s from locations locally. Room One features photos from Ullswater, Room Two from Appleby, Room Four from Ambleside and Room Seven from Kendal and each has its own unique style too.
Glendale’s Deluxe Single rooms deliver beautiful & comfortable traditional style, supporting all the comfort, space & style you would expect. We have four wonderful deluxe single rooms and all are fully en-suite appointed with seating, remote TV, hair-dryer, large wall-mounted mirrors, deluxe divan bed with luxurious mattress and mattress toppers to add extra comfort, bed-side units & bedside lamps, wardrobe / hanging garment rails and a generous hospitality tray including a range of herbal teas as well as traditional tea, decaf tea too with full and decaf coffee, milk, sugar brown & white & biscuits.
The en-suite shower room is complete with extra-large bath towels, mirrors, shower mat & shower slip mats & a range of complementary toiletries too.
